{"id":1696,"date":"2013-06-08T23:25:14","date_gmt":"2013-06-09T03:25:14","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.randallwolff.com\/wordpress\/?p=1696"},"modified":"2013-06-08T23:25:14","modified_gmt":"2013-06-09T03:25:14","slug":"1696","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.randallwolff.com\/wordpress\/2013\/06\/1696\/","title":{"rendered":"Winged lion and putti panel"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>I started the model this afternoon and after forming the flat slab, no tools have been used yet to this stage, just fingertips and fingernails.<\/p>\n<p>I have to wait on a couple of details which will likely be placed temporarily and then replaced when the model is alomst done- the lion&#8217;s horn and the putto&#8217;s arm, both of which extend out to full round and would dry out too quickly if done at this point.<\/p>\n<p>The lion&#8217;s outward legs are also full round but have a little more mass to them, they are attached but undercut deeply, they may be changed a little or just undercut more.<\/p>\n<p>The lion&#8217;s chest needs to be reduced a bit and his abdomen built up a little to make him look a little less long bodied.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.randallwolff.com\/wordpress\/architectural-models\/1696\/attachment\/romegriffin\/\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-1697\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-1697\" src=\"http:\/\/www.randallwolff.com\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/06\/romegriffin.jpg\" alt=\"romegriffin\" width=\"539\" height=\"572\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>I started the model this afternoon and after forming the flat slab, no tools have been used yet to this stage, just fingertips and fingernails.
